ACTIVITIES On the property Fly-fishing, Picnics. In the Area Sani Pass trip R460 per person (passports essentials) in closed 4x4 vehicles with Major Adventures. Also bring very warm clothing (jackets, gloves, beanies & scarves) Even in summer it can be a bit chilly up there. The trip starts at the Underberg Inn @ 09h00 and includes a guided tour of a living Basutho village in Lesotho. Lunch (for your own account) is had at the Highest Pub in Africa at Sani Top Chalet. You should get back to the Underberg Inn at about 16h00. Khotso Horse Trails Stunning horse trails that go for 1 or 2 or 3 hours on the farm next door to us. They also offer overnight horse trails into Lesotho - all food & accommodation included. Tube Rides Enjoy a leisurely or exciting ride down the river on a tractor tube. The speed at which you travel depends on when last it rained up in the mountains. This is only available in the summer months. Hiking If you drive down to Drakensberg Gardens Resort and go through the gates to Garden Castle Reserve, they will give you maps of various hikes you can go on. If you speak to our Management staff they will give you more information on local guides should you wish to view some of our local rock art or do an overnight hike.
